Running Gait Analysis In-Person or Online

Process:
1) You, or we, record your form
2) Submit your video for professional analysis
3) Once completed, we email the result of your analysis
What we look for during Gait Analysis:
* Abnormal shoulder and arm motion
* Abnormal shifts of the spine or pelvis
* Pelvic, torso, and leg rotation
* Hip movement in and out of normal position
* Hip flexion and extension
* Deviation of the knees
* Pronation or supination of the ankles or feet
In-Person Video Gait Analysis

Mail-in Video Gait Analysis
For Best Results:
* Wear tight clothing.
* Use a flat and smooth location (preferably a track).
* Run several meters before and after the video portion to capture your stride and form.
* Do a warm up run.
* Run naturally.
Step 1: Making your videos
Your objective is to get 15-30 seconds of running video from the following views:
* Lower Leg front and back view
* Full body front and back view
* Arm Movement Back and Front view
* Side view (both sides - run away and then run back)
Your videos should be similar to the sample videos on the right.
Step 2: Sending your videos
Send the video files to thefitpotato@yahoo.com. Please provide email and phone with the videos.
Step 3: Confirmation/payment
We will send an email confirming your videos have arrived.
Step 4: Results
In 7-10 days after confirming receipt of your files, you will receive the results via e-mail. This package will include recommendations for correcting inefficiencies and/or potential injury-causing patterns in your form. These recommendations will include detailed descriptions, pictures, and/or videos of specific exercises and treatments that are unique to your situation.
